The Room Is Dark

It was a stormy night and the power had gone out, leaving the room in complete darkness. The only source of light was the faint glow of a candle on the table.

The room was silent, except for the sound of raindrops hitting the window. It was so dark that it was difficult to see anything, and everything seemed to be shrouded in shadows.

Feeling a little uneasy in the darkness, Sarah reached for her phone to use its flashlight. However, she found that her phone battery had died, leaving her completely stranded in the dark.

As she waited for the power to come back on, she could hear the creaking of the furniture and the rustling of curtains in the wind. The darkness made everything seem more mysterious and ominous.

Suddenly, there was a loud clap of thunder and the room was illuminated for a brief moment. Sarah saw that the room was in disarray and things were scattered around. She had to be extra careful while walking around, as she could easily bump into something and hurt herself.

The darkness felt endless, and Sarah couldn’t wait for the power to come back on. She felt trapped in the room, unable to do anything except sit and wait for the storm to pass.

After what felt like an eternity, the power finally came back on and the room was filled with light. Sarah let out a sigh of relief and realized how much she had taken the simple comforts of electricity and light for granted.
