English Story Level A1: The Blue Sky

The Blue Sky

One beautiful day, Mary and her friends went to the park to have a picnic. They spread out a blanket on the grass and unpacked their lunch boxes. The sun was shining and the sky was a bright shade of blue. The trees provided some shade, and the birds were chirping happily.

Mary looked up at the sky and remarked, “The sky is so blue today, it’s like a painting!” Her friend, Sarah, agreed and said, “Yes, it’s the perfect day to have a picnic.”

After eating, the group decided to play some games. They played Frisbee and soccer, and ran around the park. They had a lot of fun and enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.

As the afternoon wore on, the sky started to change color. It turned into shades of orange, pink, and purple. Mary exclaimed, “Look at the beautiful sunset! The sky is so colorful now.”

Soon, it was time to pack up and go home. Mary and her friends left the park feeling happy and content. They had a great day outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful blue sky.
