Lena is a smart girl who loves to learn. She enjoys reading books and studying new subjects. One of her favorite subjects is math. She likes the challenge of solving problems and finding the right answers.
One day, Lena’s friend came over to her house to play. Lena was in the middle of studying for a math test the next day. Her friend asked if she could play outside, but Lena said, “I’m sorry, I can’t play right now. I have to study for my math test.”
Lena’s friend was disappointed, but Lena knew that she had to focus on her studies to do well on the test. She sat down at her desk and opened her math book. She worked on solving equations and practicing different math problems.
After a while, Lena’s mother came in to check on her. She said, “Lena, it’s time for dinner. You’ve been studying for a long time. Why don’t you take a break and come eat with us?”
Lena agreed and closed her math book. She joined her family for dinner and they talked about their day. Lena’s father asked her about her math test, and Lena explained that she was studying hard to get a good grade.
After dinner, Lena went back to her room to continue studying. She worked on more problems and reviewed her notes. Finally, she felt confident in her knowledge and went to bed.
The next day, Lena took her math test and felt good about it. She knew that all her hard work had paid off. She got a high score and was proud of herself for studying so diligently.
