English Story Level A1: My Furry Friend

My Furry Friend

I have a dog. His name is Max. He is a golden retriever and he is very friendly. Max is my best friend. We do everything together.

Max is always by my side. When I wake up in the morning, he is the first thing I see. He wags his tail and greets me with a happy bark. Then we go for a walk together.

Max loves to play fetch. I throw his favorite ball and he brings it back to me every time. We play until we are both tired.

When it’s time to relax, Max likes to cuddle up next to me on the couch. He puts his head on my lap and falls asleep. I stroke his soft fur and listen to him snore.

Max is very smart. He knows many tricks. He can sit, stay, and roll over. Sometimes I give him treats when he does a trick. He loves treats almost as much as he loves me.

I am so lucky to have Max. He is always there for me when I need him. He makes me happy and I love him so much.
