A Day at the Park

It was a beautiful day outside, so Mary decided to go to the park. She grabbed her picnic blanket, some snacks, and her favorite book and headed out the door.

When she arrived at the park, she found a quiet spot under a big tree and laid out her blanket. She sat down and started to read her book. After a while, she got hungry and reached for her snacks. She had brought some fruit, cheese, crackers, and a bottle of water.

As she was eating, she noticed some children playing nearby. They were kicking a soccer ball back and forth and having a lot of fun. Mary smiled and watched them for a bit before going back to her book.

After finishing her snacks, Mary decided to take a walk around the park. She walked by the pond and saw some ducks swimming in the water. She also saw some people playing frisbee and others having a picnic with their families.

As she walked, she noticed a dog running towards her. She stopped and petted the dog, who seemed very friendly. The dog’s owner came over and thanked Mary for being so kind to his dog.

After a while, Mary felt tired and decided to head back home. She packed up her things and walked towards the exit. As she was leaving, she looked back at the park and smiled. It had been a lovely day.
